Making Growth and Development Understandable

We have a vibrant online community here in Holly Springs.  Not only does our Public Information staff provide a plethora of regular and timely information on many town events and matters, but there are citizens who chat about things that impact them on Facebook groups, Next Door and Twitter.    It has become much easier for town staff and council members, like myself, to see what events and services people like, issues that are bugging people, as well as , what issues and concepts are misunderstood.

Growth, development, schools and transportation are the most misunderstood.  Some online "pundits" have also used the public's misunderstanding of this for negative political purpose and gain.  Well, the town of Holly Springs staff will soon be publishing, on the website, a section to help clarify much of this.   It will be presented in a folksy, conversational style to make the various topics like that book you don't want to put down.

Not sure of the release date yet, but the town will notify via its many, redundant, online social media outlets.  Public information has always been a focus of mine, and I am very excited about this newest endeavor which has been enthusiastically embraced by the town staff.
